Connect your WhatsApp Business account

OrderPing needs three values from Meta to send messages on your behalf. This walks through getting each one and pasting it in.

What you need

  • A WhatsApp Business Account in Meta Business Suite.
  • A Business phone number that’s not currently in use on consumer WhatsApp.
  • Permission to create System Users in your Meta business (for long-lived access tokens).

Get the three values

  1. Access token

In Meta Business Suite → Business settingsSystem users, create a system user with Admin role. Assign your WhatsApp Business Account and your app to it, then Generate token with the whatsapp_business_messaging and whatsapp_business_management permissions. Pick a token that doesn’t expire (System User tokens are long-lived).

  2. Phone number ID

In WhatsApp Manager → Phone numbers, click your number. The phone number ID is the numeric ID shown at the top of the details pane (not the phone number itself).

  3. Business account ID (WABA ID)

In WhatsApp Manager → Account tools, copy the WhatsApp Business Account ID.

Paste into OrderPing

  1. Open Settings → WhatsApp

    In the OrderPing admin.

  2. Pick “Manual” connection method

Paste the three values into their fields. Save.

  3. Send a test message

Use the “Send test message” button to verify. If it fails, see Messages not sending.

Tokens can expireIf Meta returns error code 190 (subcode 463), your access token has expired or was invalidated. Regenerate a new System User token and paste it back into OrderPing.
